Margaret's first album in partnership with Joe Fiorello, who encouraged her songwriting, and with whom she shared her first recording and songwriting deal. This is the album they made after licking their wounds when that deal fell through. It is the most beautifully orchestrated of all her CD's, because of the luxury of having time, a home studio in the garage, and Joe's producer talents at the ready. Do not be deceived by the cover art, however. It is not part of her spiritual collection, but more in the "Oh the ANGST!" category with Doris Doomsday. Love lost and 20 something, these songs are influenced by Tori Amos, Sarah McLachlan and Alanis Morissette. Track favorites include "My Brother is a Callgirl," "I Dated a Dead Man," and "Pretty Ugly Girl."
