Have you noticed how the blossoms
Will spare their scent for anyone
For to fight its flowering nature
Would surely mean to parish

And how you yourself are similar
And can share your gifts with anyone
For only what's worth offering
is ever really cherished

And so God let me be a witness
To the power of your giving
And God let me witness
That power thru me
My heart it never will be empty
Immersed in the truth I'm living
And as I declare so it shall be

Like the sun that hangs above me doesn't have to work to shine
I need only just to open to have this season of giving be mine
As I ask for strength and clarity
And the willingness to trust
